Life can take a few turns.

We have a number of opportunities and resources to help you navigate life’s journey.

Member Care

In seasons of crisis and need in our church family, the Member Care office serves as our communications hub and resource coordinator, mobilizing our church family and engaging our pastoral staff as we walk together in compassionate community. For benevolence needs, please click here and fill out the application form. Once filled out, a member of our staff will be in contact.

You can reach the Member Care office by email at membercare@calvarynow.com or by phone at 336.714.5430. In addition, after normal office hours, pastors and others are on call to respond to crisis and critical needs by calling 336.765.5542 and following the prompts to access the pastor-on-call.

Prayer Requests

Calvary is a praying church. It is a joy to pray for each other in praise; it is a privilege to pray for each other in the valleys of life, reminding each other of the tender security of our Father’s Hand.

To share a prayer request with the Member Care Office, please text the word “prayer” to 336.777.7143 or click the button below for our online form.

Counseling

New Salem Counseling is a church-based nonprofit ministry providing gospel-centered biblical and licensed counseling along with other services and opportunities that address the spiritual, emotional, and relational needs of our evangelical faith community.

We also offer a list of local counseling resources. Click here to access the list.

Care Groups

Care Groups provide a small group, peer-support setting where individuals invest a season of their life to overcome a particular life-dominating struggle. These groups provide a safe environment where members learn insights and skills that allow them to more fully engage in life and biblical community.

Stephen Ministry©

Prayer Quilting Ministry

It doesn’t matter how much experience you have or how many years old you are, there is a place for you in this unique ministry at Calvary. You may be gifted in sewing or prayer, putting together patterns and colors, or coordinating resources. The ministry is all about quilting with purpose. We give every quilt we make to children and adults experiencing difficulty, serious illness, or loss. This ministry is as much about prayer and ministering to the community as it is about quilting.

Interested in joining us? We meet Mondays from 9:00a–12:00p in the Sechrist Building.
