Purpose Statement

Calvary Baptist Church desires to advance the cause of theological education as well as education in general through the granting of appropriate scholarships to qualified, Christ-centered individuals. In particular, the Church wishes to assist in preparing students who will know how to lovingly engage their communities and make a courageous stand for Jesus Christ and the gospel in both ministry and in the marketplace. It hopes to equip students to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission and assist them in turning a divine prompting into a source of great blessing for themselves, their families, their communities and the church. Gifts to scholarship funds will hopefully bring the greatest possible joy to the donor and glory, praise and honor to the Lord Jesus Christ.
