Since the beginning of time, God has shown Himself to be sovereign and compassionate toward His people. He led the Israelites out of slavery and promised a new land they could call home. Even though the Israelites were not always obedient, God made a way for them to be made right before Him, showing that he would walk alongside them even in the wilderness.
